How we work together.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Datezy service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use Datezy.

Datezy may be used by people in different countries. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights or privacy rights that cannot be waived under the laws that apply to you.

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or in-app notification at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, use Datezy, accept a partner invite, or be linked as a partner. By creating an account or accepting an invite, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older and that your use of the service is lawful in your jurisdiction.

Datezy is intended for personal, non-commercial use by adults planning date experiences for themselves and their adult partners.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Do not share your password or allow others to access your account.

If you suspect unauthorised access to your account, contact us immediately at [email protected]. We are not liable for losses arising from unauthorised access that results from your failure to keep credentials secure.

You may only create one account per person. Creating duplicate accounts to circumvent restrictions or usage limits is prohibited.

If you add information about a partner or invite a partner to Datezy, you represent that your partner is at least 18, that you have the right to provide that information, and that you will not use Datezy to harass, impersonate, or mislead another person.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

Datezy offers a free tier with limited features, premium subscriptions, and optional credit-based purchases. Subscription fees are charged in advance on a recurring basis shown at checkout.

By subscribing, you authorise us and our payment processor to charge your payment method until you cancel. Prices may be shown in your local currency where supported, and taxes may be added or included depending on your location and checkout settings. All fees are non-refundable except as described in our Refund Policy or as required by applicable law.

We may change our pricing at any time. We will give you at least 30 days' notice before a price increase takes effect, and the change will apply only at your next monthly renewal date.

If a payment fails, we may attempt to retry the charge. If payment remains unsuccessful, we may downgrade or suspend your account until payment is resolved.

5. Date Credits

Datezy uses a credit system for certain features, including date idea generation. Credits may be included with your subscription tier or purchased separately as credit packs.

Plan credits refresh or reset according to the terms of your plan and generally do not roll over between billing periods unless explicitly stated. Purchased credit-pack credits do not expire unless we say otherwise at purchase or applicable law requires a different result.

Credits are non-transferable, have no cash value, and are consumed when you generate date ideas or use other credit-based features. We may restore credits when a confirmed service defect prevents the feature from producing usable output.

We may adjust future credit quantities, pricing, and pack configurations at any time. Changes will not remove purchased credits already in your account except where required for abuse prevention, refunds, chargebacks, account closure, or legal compliance.

6. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by contacting [email protected]. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you will retain access to premium features until that date.

7. AI-Generated Content

Date ideas and suggestions generated by Datezy are produced by an AI system. While we design prompts to produce high-quality, appropriate suggestions, AI output is not guaranteed to be accurate, suitable, or error-free in every case.

AI-generated suggestions are for inspiration only. You are responsible for confirming venue hours, prices, booking requirements, accessibility, transportation, weather, dietary or allergy suitability, local laws, age restrictions, and personal safety before following any suggestion.

Datezy is not a medical, mental health, relationship counseling, legal, financial, or safety advisory service. You should use your own judgment and seek qualified professional advice when needed.

You may not use Datezy's AI output for commercial resale, bulk content generation, model training, benchmarking, dataset creation, or any purpose other than personal date planning without our written consent.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Datezy to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Attempt to access another user's account without authorisation
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, copy, benchmark, or attempt to extract source code, prompts, ranking logic, workflows, models, or non-public product logic from any part of the service
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to create accounts, generate content, harvest outputs, or stress the service without our written permission
• Use Datezy, its outputs, or its user experience to build or train a competing service, dataset, model, or content product without our written permission
• Introduce malware, viruses, or other harmful code
• Abuse the AI generation system, including attempts to extract harmful content or override safety measures
• Upload content you do not have rights to use or content that is illegal, abusive, harassing, sexually exploitative, invasive of privacy, or otherwise harmful
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits or restrictions
• Use the service for any commercial purpose without our written consent

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without prior notice depending on severity.

9. Intellectual Property

Datezy and its content, features, user experience, workflows, prompts, software, interfaces, logos, brand assets, and non-public product logic are owned by Datezy or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of content you upload or submit to Datezy, such as scrapbook photos, notes, feedback, and profile information. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, store, process, display, reproduce, and use that content only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve Datezy.

You represent that you have the rights needed to upload or submit your content. Do not upload photos, notes, or personal information about another person if you do not have permission or another lawful basis to do so.

Date ideas generated for you are provided for your personal use. You may save and use them for your own date planning, but you may not resell, republish, redistribute, scrape, or commercially exploit generated content or use it to build a competing product without our written consent.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Datezy is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful components.

We do not warrant that date suggestions will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your specific circumstances. Use of AI-generated content is at your own discretion and risk.

Some jurisdictions provide mandatory warranties or consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded. Nothing in these Terms excludes those rights where they apply.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Datezy and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms or the service shall not exceed the amount you paid to Datezy in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, consumer guarantees, or limitation of liability for incidental or consequential damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms of Service, if we are required to do so by law, or if continuing to provide the service is no longer commercially viable. We will give reasonable notice where possible.

Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. Sections relating to intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and governing law survive termination.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Datezy's operating entity is established, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your location require a different result. We make no representation that the service is appropriate or available in every jurisdiction.

Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Datezy service should first be raised with us at [email protected] so we can try to resolve it informally.

If informal resolution fails, disputes will be handled in the courts or dispute-resolution forum permitted by applicable law. Either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief for intellectual property misuse, unauthorized access, security abuse, or misuse of Datezy's non-public product logic.

Where permitted by law, disputes must be brought individually and not as part of a class, collective, consolidated, or representative action.
